Emerald is a member of the US National Guard and is preparing an overseas assignment which will take her away from her Riverside, CA, home from 12/14/2020 – 8/11/2021. Emerald is hoping to find a great, quiet home for her charming senior dog, Larrie.
Larrie is a 10 year old, 10 lbs, neutered male Chihuahua. Larrie is up to date on his vaccinations and flea/tick prevention. Larrie takes three medications for age-related medical conditions, which Emerald will provide to the foster family. He is crate and leash trained! Larrie is great with other low-energy dogs and cats, but gets stressed around large, hyper dogs. Emerald says, “Larrie is a senior citizen chihuahua that enjoys the simple things in life. He loves walking outside and he loves napping/cuddling and gentle scratches behind his ears. Larrie would really love to be with a foster family that is very nurturing and loving with some knowledge or experience with senior dogs. Larrie is very chill and was recently diagnosed with heart issues so he really needs a foster fam who has lower-energy dogs or cats. He likes being an only child but he does fine with other animals that aren’t very playful/hyperactive.”
