Daphne is a member of the US Air Force who will be going to training for the next year, from 2/1/2021 – 3/2/2022. Daphne’s family all live abroad, and she has no close friends near her home in Merritt Island, FL, to care for her special little pup, Luna. PACT is hoping to find a great foster for Luna for the next year.
Luna is a 1 year old, 45 lbs, spayed female rat terrier mix. She is microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention. Luna is leash and crate trained, and knows commands for sit, down, paws, roll over, touch it, stay, come, drop it, and leave it. Luna is great with other dogs and cats, and though she hasn’t had experience with kids, Daphne and PACT both think she would do find with a few kids to play with in the yard. Daphne says, “I adopted her when I lived in the Caribbeans. She is shy but adorable and very funny.”
