Jordan is a member of the US Army Reserves and is preparing for mandatory training from 3/13/2021 – 8/26/2021. Jordan is hoping to find a great foster fit for his two dogs, Winnie and Opie, near their home in Put In Bay, OH.
Winnie is a 5 year old, 70 lbs, spayed female Labrador mix. She is up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention. Winnie is crate and leash trained and knows commands for sit, stay, down, roll over, and speak. Winnie is great with other dogs, and especially bonded to her brother Opie. Jordan says, “Winnie is a great, loyal and sweet girl. Rescued from Indiana at 8 weeks, she barely made it as a pup having severe flea and heartworm infestation. She is as loyal and sweet as they come, loves to play but still like to hang out on the couch.”
Opie is a 4 year old, 130 lbs, neutered male Great Dane. He is up to date on his vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention. Opie is crate and leash trained and knows commands for sit, speak, and down. Opie is great with other dogs and cannot be separated from his sister Winnie. Jordan says, “Opie is a sensitive pup. He’s 130 pounds but my best friend and has been with me through a lot. Rescued from Akron at 6 weeks of age, he was bottle fed as a pup. He is a couch potato lap dog once he is comfortable with you, he will not leave your side. His perfect foster would be someone who can give him attention and affection. He is a leaner, and such a sweet boy. Capable of being your best friend. Fenced yard without kids, since he’s never been around kids.”
