Vanessa is a member of the US Army and is preparing for an overseas assignment which will take her away from her Phoenix, AZ, home from 1/1/2021 – 2/28/2022. She is hoping to find some support and care for her two cats, Bruce and Leia, during the time that she is away serving our country.
Bruce is a 3 year old, 10 lbs, neutered male domestic shorthaired cat (Tuxedo.) Bruce is a cuddly and playful cat who is non-destructive in the home and enjoys the company of people and other pets. Vanessa says, “He likes to make little snoring sounds when he sleeps and he acts tough on the outside but is a big cuddle buddy.”
Leia is a 2 year old, 10 lbs, spayed female domestic shorthaired cat (brown tabby.) Leia is more shy and timid than her brother, but once she warms up to you, her personality really shines. She loves to “talk,” especially at meal times. Vanessa says, “She’s very needy and loves to cuddle when she warms up to you. Her name is Leia after Princess Leia in Star Wars because she acts like a Princess.”
