Claudia and Braeden are members of the US Air Force and are changing stations overseas. The couple will be waiting on housing when they arrive at their new station, and are looking for a foster near Tucson, AZ, to look after their dog, Artie, until they can schedule him a flight out to join them. Artie will need a foster from 5/15/2021 – 7/18/2021.
Artie is a 1 year old, 75lbs, neutered male German Shepherd. He is microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. Artie is crate trained, leash trained, and knows commands for sit, stay, paw, down, wait, and focus. Artie likes to socialize with other dogs and goes to the park or doggy daycare a few times a month. He can be more territorial with strangers in the home, and should be introduced outside or put in his crate while guests are visiting. Artie is great with kids and has been the “guardian angel” of his new baby human sister. PACT is looking for a family with breed experience and the time and attention to give Artie a great home for two months!
