Anton is a member of the US Air Force preparing for an overseas assignment from 6/1/2021 – 5/1/2022. Anton is hoping to find a great foster for his cats, Taco and Oliver, near their home in Manhattan, KS, until he returns from duty.
Taco is a 1 year old, 10 lbs, spayed female domestic shorthaired cat (tortoiseshell.) Taco is up to date on her vaccinations. Anton adopted Taco as a stray, and she can still be fairly skittish around new people, excitable kids, and large dogs. In a calm environment, she’s incredibly sweet, loving, and playful. Anton says, “She’s super sweet and loves to cuddle once she warms up to you. Never scratches, hisses, or attacks anyone. And she loves to play with lasers, strings, and most other cat toys.”
Oliver is a 9 year old, 16lbs, neutered male domestic shorthaired cat (orange tabby.) Oliver is also up to date on his vaccinations. Oliver is on a diet, and will need to be monitored with his kibble intake. Oliver gets along well with other kids, cats and dogs after an introduction. Anton says, “His name is Oliver, but at this point he responds to his nickname (Chunky). He’s always been a big boye, but he’s on a diet, and has went from 18.2 to 16.0 lbs in under a year. He’s a very sweet and chill cat and very food driven. He’s basically Garfield. He likes playing with toys on strings, sunbathing, and exploring backyards. He likes to cuddle (especially when it’s bedtime), and is very good with baths and getting his nails cut.”
