Martika is a member of the US Army who is preparing for a 9 month overseas assignment from 6/7/2021 – 3/1/2022. Martika is looking for help finding a foster home for her two cool, collected felines, Hatter and Wasabi. These cool cats are currently in Junction City, KS. Can you offer them a place to stay?
Hatter is a 10 year old, 12lbs, neutered male domestic short haired Tabby cat. Hatter is up to date on his vaccinations. Hatter is great with other cats and adults, but get skittish and defensive around energetic dogs and young kids. He loves his scratching post, and snoozing on the lap of the nearest person on the couch. Martika says, “Hatter is friendly in the spot and loves to rub up against people who are friendly and receive him happily. For an older cat he can be very playful when enticed by a toy or Wasabi.”
Wasabi is a 3 year old, 14lbs, neutered male Siamese/DSH mix. Wasabi is up to date on his vaccinations. He is a little more shy than his brother, and may hide for the first few days in his foster home. He can be particularly skittish around men, but is never aggressive. Martika says, “Wasabi is nervous at first, but once he comes out of his shell he’s such a love bug. He loves to cuddle and be held close.”
