Omari is a member of the US National Guard and will be going on overseas assignment from 7/5/2021 – 9/12/2022. Omari doesn’t have family or friends who have dog experience, and he’s hoping to find a great foster for his dog Gia with PACT. Gia is currently in Atlanta, GA, and can travel anywhere within 6 hours of home.
Gia is a 2 year old, 55lbs, spayed female American Pit Bull Terrier mix. Gia is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and she has been microchipped. Gia also has a Pet Insurance plan, which her foster would have access to if she ever needed a vet visit during her term. Gia loves to play and exercise, and usually Omari will spend a good 30-40 minutes outside every day. She also loves to go to the dog park at least once a month to play with her friends. Gia is crate trained, leash trained, and knows commands for sit, go to bed, stay, come here, relax, stop, and no. She does well with other dogs, but doesn’t have experience with young kids or cats. Omari says Gia’s favorite thing is to fall asleep between his legs in the evenings – she’s a real cuddle bug.
