Anna is a member of the US Coast Guard who will be going to training from 7/24/2021 – 11/16/2021. Anna doesn’t have family or friends nearby her home in Williamsburg, MI, who can take care of her cat Billy during this training period. Anna is hoping that there might be a great PACT foster in the area to give Billy lots of love for the next 4 months.
Billy is a 2 year old, 10 lbs, neutered male Maine Coon mix. He is microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. Billy is an energetic and curious young cat – Anna has even trained him to walk outside on a harness and leash! Billy will run from energetic dogs in the home, and may swat at them if he feels cornered. He may also scratch furniture, but Anna says that Billy knows the word “no” and is easily redirected from this behavior. Anna says, “Billy is a shy little boy but once he knows he’s safe you won’t be able to keep him away from you. He commonly follows me from room to room, setting up to nap near me or on me whenever he can. He loves cuddles and head scratches! He is also pretty well trained and can sit, come, shake, and spin (if he’s in the mood.)”
