Who wants to foster this big poof ball of a puppy?? Meet Koda! He is a 1-year-old husky. Koda’s owner is in the National Guard and is deploying for one year. Koda was going to stay with a friend, but the foster fell through. The owner is willing to transport within the Long Island and Hudson Valley NY, Eastern PA, NJ, and Connecticut.

Fur Facts:

  •  Male Husky
  • 1-year old, 45 pounds
  • High energy, but likes to sleep a lot
  • House-broken, crate-trained, and partially leash trained
  • Gets along with all people, children of all ages, dogs, and cats

Fun Facts

Koda is the ultimate husky puppy. He is loving, kind, and gets along with all. He loves going to the dog park and playing with the other dogs. Koda is very social and loves meeting new people and children. He has no destructive tendencies but will get into the trash on occasion. Koda is crate trained but is left out at night and for short periods when his owner is away. Koda likes to sleep either at the foot of the bed or on his dog bed next to the owner’s bed. Koda still thinks he is a lap dog and is very attached to people. He will follow you around to be with you.

The perfect foster home for Koda would have another social dog, children, and/ or trips to a dog park to help keep him social. Someone that would be willing to love his puppy-ness would be ideal!
