Do you love pets, but don’t currently have any? Here is an opportunity to fill your home with love and fun. Lily, Percy, and Tank are three peas in a pod that need to stay together while their owner deploys to Korea.

Currently located in Yelm, WA, this trio would preferably stay local, but their own is willing to transport them to ensure a safe, secure home that will keep them together with no other pets. They need a foster from November 8, 2022 – July 28, 2023.

Lily

Female, Domestic Short Hair (DSH) Tabby
5 years Old, 8 pounds
Medium Energy; Very quiet
Gets along with people, including children
Leash and litter box trained
Scratches furniture – owner will supply furniture covers
Indoor only

Fun Facts
Lily is a little love bug that will follow you around everywhere. She is an indoor-only cat but is leash trained for short jaunts outside with supervision. Her owner has an enclosed ‘catio’ specially designed for Lily & her two siblings and they are used to hanging out and lounging in the sun.

Percy
Fur Facts
Male, Grey and White Domestic Short Hair (DSH)
8 years old, 10 pounds
Low energy; Very quiet
Gets along with people, including children
Leash and litter box trained
Scratches furniture – owner will supply furniture covers
Indoor only
Fun Facts
Percy is a sweet and low-energy kitty. Rescued by his owner after being hit by a car as a stray, Percy has no mobility in one of his back legs, but that doesn’t stop him from running around and playing with his siblings; he just can’t jump up. Percy and Tank the Rottweiler are best friends and can often be found sleeping with each other. Percy also likes to snuggle up and sleep with his owner at night.
TANK

Fur Facts
Male, Rottweiler
8 years old, 102 pounds
Low energy
Great with all people, including children
Could possibly do well with cats (other than his), if introduced slowly
House and crate trained – but doesn’t need to be crated

Fun Facts

Tank is a 100-pound lapdog, who loves to be the center of attention. He is a couch potato, who likes to sleep in during the mornings, but once up will get the zoomies for a bit before settling back down. Tank may try to bolt out an open door, but his owner lovingly states, “Tank is old and fat and can’t make it that far, plus he is slow and easy to catch.”

As he is getting up there in age, he is on daily arthritis and allergy medications that he eats right up with his food.

Tank is great with people and children of all ages, but due to his size, his owner states he might be better in a home with only older children that he can’t accidentally bump or knock over.

Tank is an alpha and is unpredictable with other dogs, so his owner feels it would be best just to err on the side of caution when it comes to other dogs, though he may be able to be around cats other than his, if introduced slowly. If out walking, the owner steps to the side and will let other dogs pass with a wide breadth.

Tank and his kitty siblings really need to be kept together because they are extremely bonded and Tank gets very distressed without them.

Please consider being the one to help keep this loving trio together if you can.
