Fun Facts
Reagan the pointer-hound mix is a rare find who gets along with people, children, dogs, and cats and is a gentle, quiet boy. His owner says he seems like an old soul; he can be very sensitive to your mood and at times he will just come up to you and get really close and just stare at you as if he knew you in a past life.
Long walks and trips to the park to play with other dogs are his favorite thing, though he is perfectly content laying around in the yard. For all Reagan’s wonderful qualities, his owner says he may play fetch but would make a bad outfielder because he can never catch the ball!
Mostly he is happiest being by your side. At home, Reagan can be a couch potato. If you are out, he will just lay around and wait for you to return. Once you return home, Reagan gets so excited he wiggles his butt, turns in circles, and will rub up to you wanting love. He loves to snuggle on the couch while you read or watch TV and will sleep up close with his owner all night. He is leash and crate-trained, but has not needed to be crated in a long time.
The perfect foster home would be one that can give him the attention he deserves and won’t mind a Velcro dog.
The perfect foster home would be an active household, with another dog and children to play with.
