Karen is a veteran of the US Army and is seeking treatment for illness sustained in the line of duty from 4/14/2021 – 6/6/2021. Karen is looking for a loving foster home for her two cats, Prince and Vanity, near their home in Arlington, VA.
Prince is a 5 year old, 10lbs, neutered male Bombay cat. Prince is microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, and flea/tick prevention. Prince is a vocal cat and is chatty. He talks when he wants food, snacks, or attention, and he meows at the door when he wants to go outside to play. Prince is watchful of dogs and is typically afraid of them, but he does get along with other cats and people of all ages. Karen says, “Prince is very playful and highly affectionate, and he acts goofy on catnip. He loves affection and is clingy to whomever showers him with affection. He loves his head and cheeks scratched and becomes irritated by petting to his stomach and back. He loves playing with wands, chasing ping-pong balls, and playing with his BFF, Vanity.”
Vanity is a 5 year old, 10lbs, spayed female Bombay mix. Vanity is also microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, and flea/tick prevention. Vanity is afraid of dogs and other cats, but loves her kitty brother, Prince. She’s also very scared of energetic kids. Karen says, “Vanity is vocal when: I prepare her wet food (Breakfast & Dinner), she carries her mouse toys (often at night), she watches birds through the window, and when she is disinterested in playing with Prince or when Prince begins to play too rough. Vanity has the softest adult cat voice and still ‘mews’ like a kitten.”
